Hi, I’m Vic — founder and director of VIGS.

I created VIGS because I believe hair is so much more than appearance. It is identity, confidence, self-expression, and the way we move through the world.

After 18 years in hairdressing and more than a decade immersed in wig artistry and alternative hair, I saw firsthand the extraordinary impact a thoughtfully crafted wig can have on someone’s confidence and sense of self. Yet finding the right piece was rarely simple.

Too often, the experience felt impersonal — ill-fitting constructions, colour that missed the mark, and pieces designed without true consideration for the woman wearing them. The artistry, care, and intention were missing.

Hair loss also hits close to home. With it running in my family, I’ve seen the emotional impact it can have on confidence, identity, and everyday life.

VIGS was created to redefine that experience — bringing together craftsmanship, artistry, and genuine care to create custom wigs that feel deeply personal, beautifully made, and entirely your own.

The trust my clients place in me is something I never take lightly. Seeing someone reconnect with confidence, excitement, and themselves again when they receive their finished piece is, without question, the most rewarding part of what I do.

Because hair is never “just hair”.

It’s comfort. Confidence. Identity.

Thanks for being here,

‍ ‍ Vic
